Day 251
We took a day trip to the valley yesterday. We were there before we realized it was the first day of classes. This t-shirt totally brings back memories of being given a nickname by people you just met. 20 years from now, his friends are totally going to want him to name his kid something to do with a ghost. Casper perhaps?

Day 247
Well, Hurricane Earl wasn't as eventful as expected. Although if I was in this port-a-potty when it hit, I may have a different opinion.

Day 246
I will be the first to admit that the thermometer is not calibrated to any ISO standard, but I think we can all agree that it is hot out. It is also the start of my curling season in about an hour.

Day 214
So Darren and I were out for a walk at the park. He grabbed me behind the trees, and said "I don't think anyone can see us". I sit on the bench thinking that we are really too old to be making out on a park bench, but I go with it. As I sit on the bench, he started to lay on the ground. I am thinking that we didn't bring a blanket and that we definitely are too old to be rolling around in the grass. Then he said his back was killing him, and started to do some stretches to make it better. I almost died laughing. I guess we are too old for sex at the park.

Day 202
So I am trying to book a cottage for a week's vacation. (Did anyone else start singing Fresh Prince? No, just me?) They have to allow dogs, and really can't have too many stairs as Max doesn't like new stairs. They have to internet, and can't be too rustic as Darren doesn't do rustic.
I really should just leave the two high maintenance beings in my family home and have this vacation be just about me.

Day 185
The sun is setting over the neighbourhood lake. The kids are still out swimming. I am not because it is Sunday night. I have laundry to do, an accounting assignment to finish, tomorrow's lunch to make, tonight's dinner to cook, a dog to walk, and a chequing account to review. Adulthood sucks.

Day 184
Okay, so this gets me out of the water should I fall in the harbour. What gets the harbour water off of me once I am out? Shouldn't there be one of the contamination showers right next to the ring thing?
