It is Darren's birthday tomorrow. I have taken decorating classes, but no one besides my brother likes that yucky Wilton icing. Darren likes plain whip cream on his cake. (get your minds out of the gutter!!!!)

Leaning tower of YUM! Waking up on a Sunday morning to pancakes is the best thing ever. I woke up to a dog needing a walk and a husband asleep on the couch who can't cook anyway. After I got back from the park, I made pancakes.

Halifax is a working port city. I love seeing the containers moving to and from the boats and trains.

Did you know you could buy a container for around $3000? I have a coworker that is thinking of buying one and turning it into a home to have the ability not to return from parental leave.

In the winter my Friday nights are spent curling. This is my team. This was the best photo out of many. We don't win many games either.

I hate when things are really matchy matchy, whether it be a decorated room or an outfit. Then I realized my outfit matched my bathroom.
