Day 365

I did it!  While everyone else is ringing in the new year, I will be drinking to never having to update this blog ever again.  Thanks to all my real life friends for giving me subjects to shoot, my iFriends for the comments, and to the friends that overlap for not telling me to f^&* off the many times when I deserved it!

A special shout out to LJ and Donna for keeping me motivated.  It was great getting to know you picture by picture!

Day 331

Well, I was having a craptacular week until I checked the mail.  This cheque was waiting for me.  I knew a cheque was waiting for me, but I did not realize it was this amount.  I am usually really good with keeping track of money, but this one completely fell through the cracks.  I will never make fun of friends who keep their investments in pesos again.

Day 329

A couple of friends texted me wondering if I wanted to meet them for dinner as they were heading to my favorite pub in my 'hood.  I had just finished dinner, but I am always up for girl chat and dessert.  Both were much needed!

Day 320

Henry out celebrating his mom's 40th birthday.  He lasted an hour.  Sadly I didn't last much longer.

Sometime after I've had a few drinks, I will tell you how I taught him how to stab himself with a knife.  It was how "It was only a butter knife" became the night's anthem.  Hey, at least I didn't push him in front of a moving car.

Day 286

Not to sound too much like Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, but having the flatware at funny angles was a bit troubling.  Thankfully the server brought the relaxing juice, aka red wine, to the table quickly.

Day 269

This is a friend who is the lead in the female version of the Odd Couple.  I didn't take a picture of her and the other lead together, because the other lead is a skanky bitch.

Support community theatre and all the drama that goes with it.

Day 186

I am an idiot.  I was going on yesterday about how I would rather go swimming than finish an accounting assignment not realizing a good friend was in the hospital recovering from a stroke.  I completely suck.

This is a another picture from yesterday. I am really not in the mood to take any pictures.

Day 140

I love when friends think of me while on vacation.  Hint, hint to those traveling this summer.

Day 134

I went out to dinner last night with my iFriends.  The company was great, but the food and service sucked.  The trio of dips was stale pita pieces with three scoops of baby food.  The different baby food was touching each other.  Ugh!  When I got home I ordered one of these bad boys.  Pizza never disappoints me.

Day 129

My friend is famous, but the good kind of famous.  The paparazzi doesn't follow her around, because they don't know what she looks like.

Support community theatre!

Day 123

An old friend came over for dinner last night.  Max adores her.

Day 107

This is what gay boys think lesbians want for their birthday.  She looks pretty happy, so what does this straight girl know.

Day 102

A great night out with some old and new friends.  Faces were blurred to protect the guilty from being associated with the obscene gesture.  If you are wondering why this gesture is considered obscene, there is a story.  There is always a story when funny people and wine are brought together.

Day 38

My favorite thing after a party is checking out what people left behind. This was all that was left after last night's gathering. Sophie!

This is not helping my mid-life crisis at all!

Day 37

Saturday nights have changed at the Kelly residence.

Terri's Spencer, Laura's Evan, and Romy's Ben.

Day 15

In the winter my Friday nights are spent curling. This is my team. This was the best photo out of many. We don't win many games either.

Day 2

Darren's grandmother recently went into a senior's home. She lived in her house for 65 years and she was a huge pack rat, so it took a while to clear out all her stuff. Although she wanted her family to have her treasures, a lot went in dumpsters (yes plural!). Because I had storage space, I received her dishes. We were having friends for dinner, so I thought it would be a good time to use them.

Lesson of the day: Use your stuff while you can. Eventually a loved one is just going to throw it out anyway!
