Day 325
Every time I buy fennel I have the same checkout boy. He never knows what it is. Today I told him it tastes like licorice. He then was interested. What is it about the Y chromosome that will only eat vegetables that taste like candy?
I have never eaten a fennel. They really taste like licorice?! I am not sure if I'd like that in a vegetable.
