Day 151

Fighting with him at his bedtime.  If we were to have real kids, we would lose any control we convinced ourselves we had.

Day 150

I am going to be an aunt!  This is the first of many cute onesies.

Day 148

Rest in peace, Uncle Neil.  He loved his vices, but knew where to draw the line.  He wouldn't go to Tim Horton's, because he thought that was an expensive and addictive habit to get into.

Day 147

I need help deciding on a colour to paint my living room.  My floor is birch hardwood, my tables are maple, and my couches are chocolate leather.  I just ordered a chair in this fabric, but the sample at the store had a lot more green dots.

My favorite paint is the right one, but I love the names of the middle ones.  Napa Valley and Cabbage Patch.  Great paint names.

I am also open to any other suggestions, but would like to stay in the green family.

Day 146

Tired out after his walk.  This is how I have been feeling with my rejoining of the gym.

Day 144

This long weekend wasn't all fun.  We actually did a few chores, so our muscles wouldn't turn completely to mush.

Day 142

The girl next door.  She is in love with my boy.  My boy completely ignores her since her ears went up.

Day 141

Pac-Man is a gateway game.  It starts off innocent, but 30 years later you are ignoring your wife to pretend you are a soldier or a guitar hero.

Happy Birthday Pac-Man!

Day 140

I love when friends think of me while on vacation.  Hint, hint to those traveling this summer.

Day 139

I still buy cds.  It is me and a bunch of 45 year old men at HMV.  HA!  I am not against downloading, but I suck at backing up my hard drive.  I have lost a lot of music over the years, because a hard drive died.  It isn't that I have had bad luck with hard drives, they usually die because of my laziness.  On my second last laptop the video card started to separate from the motherboard.  Now a normal person would re-solder the card back on.  I was too lazy, so I just used a huge ass woodworking clamp to keep it together.  I was readjusting the clamp when I clamped the hard drive.  Dead in seconds.  Oops.

Day 138

I am not one of those touchy-feely people, but that fact I am a vegetarian and I made this rack of lamb for Darren shows I care.  It probably makes up for the time I almost did the Vulcan death grip when he tried to touch me in public.  Say no to PDA!

Day 137

Another spring flower picture, because I am tired.  Come on, it's Monday.  You can't expect much more.

Day 136

I am not sure how much English he understands, but when I told him that if he was going to stay in the sun I would put sunscreen on his nose he went to the shade and gave me this look.  I call this look his "go ahead and make my day" look.

Day 135

Some American coins just showed up on my nightstand. This bothers me for the following reasons:
1.  I am not a prostitute, so money shouldn't just show up on my nightstand.
2.  I would like to think if I was a prostitute, I would earn more than metal money.  Even more so in the US where they don't have loonies or toonies.
3.  I haven't been to the US in a long, long time.

Where the hell did this money come from?

Day 134

I went out to dinner last night with my iFriends.  The company was great, but the food and service sucked.  The trio of dips was stale pita pieces with three scoops of baby food.  The different baby food was touching each other.  Ugh!  When I got home I ordered one of these bad boys.  Pizza never disappoints me.

Day 133

PB on toast.  The breakfast of champions.  I eat it as a bedtime snack.  Always 16 hours behind those champions.

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Day 132

I wondered how long the graffiti free post office boxes would stay graffiti free.  You can't keep these suburbs kids down!

Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Day 131

I hate to say it, but I have woken up many a mornings with this paw in my mouth.  Not sure why!  He is the one that snores.

Monday, May 10, 2010

Day 130

This was taken through my sunroof at a strip mall.  They tried to make a strip mall interesting.  Tried being the telling word in that sentence.

Day 129

My friend is famous, but the good kind of famous.  The paparazzi doesn't follow her around, because they don't know what she looks like.

Support community theatre!

Day 128

I love that my favorite pub has games that you can play. I envision us playing checkers after our meal and as we have another drink while we are waiting for the live music to start. Of course, this will never happen. Between facebook, twitter, my other online additions, and updating this blog, my evenings are more MacBooks and wifi, and less backgammon and cribbage.

Day 127

Another thing I don't remember planting.  I wonder if bulbs can stay dormant for 4 years.  Kind of a leap year thing?

Thursday, May 6, 2010

Day 126

After having a male dog, I will never look at trees the same way.

Wednesday, May 5, 2010

Day 125

He loves the sun and instinctively knows where in the house is sunny.  I find this amazing as I am the palest person ever and am naturally attracted to the shade.

Tuesday, May 4, 2010

Day 124

I took this picture because we were power washing all this moss off the roof of our shed.  I liked the moss as it was our version of a green roof, and I was going to comment how environmental I was without even trying.  Once I downloaded the picture I realized how "odd" it looked.

Day 123

An old friend came over for dinner last night.  Max adores her.

Day 121

Sadly there wasn't much activity when I drove by the shipyard.  I love seeing the containers go on the boats.  I really should have been a dock worker.
